Your lawyers live just down the road

Wills, deeds, divorces and the family business, handled by three lawyers who grew up in Lancaster County. Come to the office nearest you, or we’ll come out to the farmhouse.

Each office keeps its own days. Call the one you’d like to visit, or the main line, and we’ll find you a time.

Around the county

Where the paperwork ends up

Most of what we draft ends up somewhere you can stand: a field, a storefront, a front porch, a set of steps.

Rolling plowed fields and tree lines under pink evening clouds
Farmland that stays in the family
A tree-lined main street of brick shops with a crosswalk
A lease for a Main Street storefront
A red Home For Sale sign on a wooden post in front of a single-storey house with a porch
A house sold and the deed recorded
A couple sits on their front steps with their toddler in front of a teal door

The lawyers

Photographed where you’d find us on a Saturday

We live here too. These pictures were taken outside the office, which is where most of our clients knew us first.

Evenings and house calls

We leave the porch light on

On Tuesdays the Lancaster office stays open until 8, for anyone who can’t leave the shop or the barn during the day.

If getting to us is the hard part, because of a hospital stay, a care home or cows that won’t wait, one of us drives out with the papers and a notary.

From our clients

What neighbors tell their neighbors

“Lydia came out to the farm twice so my father could sign at his own table. He understood every page before he put his name on it.”

Edna H.Strasburg

“We bought the building on Main Street in the spring. Abram went through the lease with us line by line and caught the clause about the roof.”

Merle S.Lititz

“Beatriz explained the custody schedule to me in Spanish, wrote it up in English for the court, and never once made me feel rushed.”

Yarelis C.Lancaster

Shared with permission. Every family and every matter is different, and what we did for one client doesn’t predict what we can do for another.
